    Newsletter of the Central Food Research Institute under the aegis of food safety and the EU-accession, launched in 2002.
    Our aim is to inform experts working in order to maintain and strengthen food safety in Hungary in the field of food industry, research, control and law.
    We are also keeping you informed about the most relevant institutes, committees dealing with food science and food safety. Six issues have been published till now, second one in English.
    Institutes introduced up to now:

  • Food Safety Booklets
    The first issue was published in 2003 under the title of “Food perception of Hungarian consumers and experts regarding to food safety” with the aim of introducing the results of research on food safety strategies of food chain members and their consumer perception.
    In 2005 the second issue was launched with “Gluten free foods” title.
    The third one gives deep insight into one of our biggest national research development programmes and introduces its major achievements: Co-operation to establish and ensure food safety in Hungary. Integrated R&D tasks for safe food”.
    The 4th issue of Food Safety Bulletins is entitled Genetically Modified Plants in Food Chain. You can get more information on the application of modern biotechnology in the field of food industry, the EU and the Hungarian legislation, economic and ethical issues related to GMOs and the work of different scientific organizations dealing with genetically modified organisms.
    The fifth issues of ths Food Safety Booklets is : Genetically Modified Plants in the Food Chain
